Broward County, FL

With 24 miles of sandy beaches, Broward County was formed from portions of Dade and Palm Beach. The county covers 1,323 mi² and has 1,951,260 residents, with the majority of those people residing in Fort Lauderdale. Established on April 30, 1915, the county was named for former Florida governor Napoleon Bonaparte Broward. The most pleasant months of the year for Broward County are December, February and March.

With 1,266 mi², Hillsborough County has more than 158 miles of shoreline. 1,436,888 people reside within its borders, making it the third most populous county in the state.
